University of Texas at Austin McDonald Observatory Geodetic Observatory Site Utility & Infrastructure Installation

Provided labor, furnished equipment, and provided material to install new site utility and infrastructure for the McDonald Geodetic Observatory. Scope entailed the need of professional surveying of existing conditions and new layout for new access road construction, site excavation, (12) drilled piers (30’-0” in depth and 24” in diameter, and a single 30’-0” deep by 42” in diameter pier. (9) 24” piers to be capped with a 5’-0” thick slab (26’-0” L X 26’0” W) for new VLBI Antenna for NASA. Poured concrete pad for new metal building to house new SGLSR Telescope, installed new underground utilities, electrical infrastructure, power, and lightning protection, new concrete pavement road, and over 660LF of new vinyl coated fencing.
